One of my Holy Grails is the Violette Silkstone, so when I saw this beautiful floral silk chiffon from Japan I was immediately smitten with it. I don’t typically make gowns, so I decided to use it to make this chic little bubble dress.
The bodice and underskirt are made from a beautiful bottle green silk dupioni woven with deep purple, giving the silk an iridescent shimmer. The overskirt is made from the sprigged silk chiffon. A chiffon band highlights the strapless bodice and a chic bow is the perfect finishing touch.
