One of my favorite color combinations is pink and navy, so this lace is one of the prettiest I have seen. The dropped waist, strapless bodice is made from pale pink silk taffeta. The full skirt is navy blue tulle embroidered with pale pink and rose flowers, with pale green leaves. Layers of pale pink shimmer tulle give fullness to the skirt. A piece of lace matching the skirt embellishes the bodice with a pink silk band and bow under the bust.

A delicate, ethereal party dress in shades of ice blue and silver. The strapless, dropped waist bodice is made of ice blue silk taffeta. A silver silk bow belt defines the waist. An elegant ensemble for entertaining at home, this hostess gown has a full length skirt that is open on one side, revealing silk Capri pants underneath.  This vivid Liberty print, Thorpe, has beautiful shades of mauve, periwinkle, and fuchsia, with pops of spring green.  The pants are made from spring green silk dupioni.  A hand fringed mauve silk sash defines the waist.

This dress is in the Spooky Couture line, but is much more subtle.  The print in based on the artist’s experiences in the jungles of Costa Rica, where bats make up more than half of the 210 species of mammals indigenous to the region.  The fabric represents the midnight sky, looking up through the dense foliage of the jungle at a crescent moon.  Tiny bats fly in and around the treetops.
