In honor of Barbie’s birthday on March 9th, I used this wonderful fabric from Michael Miller that is long out of print to make a classic, slim fitting sheath with a richly beaded neckline. The print depicts fashionable ladies in Barbie’s iconic colors of pink, black, and white. The sheath is fully lined in white silk and can be made to fit most 1/6 scale fashion dolls.

Ready for a Spring party in a sunny yellow lace gown. The bodice is made from yellow silk dupioni and has an off the shoulder silhouette with a ruched bust. The voluminous skirt has a top layer of tulle lace embroidered with yellow buttercups and pale green stems and buds. Eight layers of pale yellow tulle give the skirt its volume.
