Decorating the bodice is a handmade length of trim in the 18th century style. A silk ombré bow decorates the décolletage. The skirt is a simple bell with pale pink tulle giving it volume.

Not long ago, I took a magical trip with my beloved Berry family to London! I was flown in as a surprise for Rebecca’s special birthday trip. What a glorious week we had. One of the most special places for me was the trip to Liberty of London, where I blew most of my budget and bought 9 meters of fabric. Another highlight was the Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&A museum. More inspired outfits will be coming from both. In this fist gown, I was inspired to use some of my new Liberty lawn with details à la Française to give a nod to Marie Antoinette.
The lawn is ombré pink with vertical metallic gold stripes woven in. The featured flowers are peonies in dark pink and yellow. The bodice is off the shoulder with a ruched bust. Four pink silk ribbon bows decorate the front. The skirt is a voluminous bubble decorated with a handmade trim flourish on either side.

Nothing brightens the complexion like sparkle next to the face, offered by this chic little silk noil sugarplum bolero jacket. The neckline is richly beaded with different shapes and sizes of glass beads and crystals in complementary colors. The jacket is fully lined in the Liberty of London print.
The party dress features a scoop necked, sleeveless bodice and full skirt, given added volume from layers of pink tulle. The print “Wiltshire” is a classic leaf and berry design, first created in 1933, and one of Liberty’s classics ever since, done in numerous color variations. This rendition is one of the more modern color ways as it has the addition of metallic dyes, making it perfect for the holidays.

A limited number of people were given the chance to attend that event, but do not let that distress you. Everyone has equal access to my collection, which can be ordered online, here on my website.
