Another beautiful scrap from my stash, this exquisite French silk eyelet is in the palest of pinks. In a nod to a classic vintage fashion, I added black grosgrain ribbons along the princess seam lines at varying lengths, each ended with a tiny bow.

The dress is fully lined in white silk and closes with hooks and loops.

This dress fits most 1/6 fashion dolls, though it might be too snug for vintage Barbie.

A color variation of yesterday’s fashion, this dress is in black with fuchsia Barbie silhouettes. A white silk shirt front and collar provide contrast, as do black buttons down the front. A silk ribbon bow in fuchsia decorates the neck.

I purchased this gorgeous embroidered silk when I last visited Paris 13 years ago. I have been hoarding my last piece for a special dress and today was the day. The silk is the palest pink richly embroidered with cherry blossoms and vines in shades of pink, coral, and cream. I sewed tiny pearls in the centers of the flowers to make the dress extra luxe. The dress is strapless, made of multiple panels that shape to the body, then flare into a bell shape. Fully lined in white silk.
