I always make Lilly Pulitzer dresses for a few special customers at Barbie Convention, and they went so fast this year that I promised to make some more when I got home for everyone who couldn’t attend.
All dresses are made from genuine Lilly Pulitzer fabric, which comes to me in small pieces, so a few are OOAKs, but some I have more than one, though it might have a slightly different bodice. You also have the option of purchasing beaded or unbeaded.
All dresses have tulle underskirts. Fit is to Silkstone/Poppy Parker.

This glorious fabric called Peacock Manor is based on Liberty’s classic design Hera, and features peacock, Jay, and guinea fowl feathers, superimposed over another print of berries. The style of the dress is a bubble, featuring an off the shoulder bodice with a ruched, jeweled bust. An oversized Aegean blue silk bow decorates the hip.

This fabric is some of the prettiest I’ve come across. If you are a flower lover, it’s for you. I lost count of the varieties and, if you have a magnifying glass, each flower is labeled. And of course, Liberty Tana Lawn is like silk.
Today’s gown has a fitted, dropped waist bodice that expands into a voluminous skirt with a purple tulle underskirt. The bodice has band sleeves, over which extends a piece of handmade passementerie. Silk ribbon bows in green contrast with the purple in the trim decorate the shoulder.
My beautiful Marie is the work of the incomparable Matt Sutton.

Another stunning woven heart silk fabric, this time in red. The bodice of the dress is halter necked and drop waisted. The full skirt is given additional volume from layers of red tulle. The band around the neck is decorated with a dressmaker’s bow.

This dress is a simple day dress made special by its exquisite fabric and handmade trim in the style of the 18th century. The fabric is light, silky Liberty lawn in shades of rosy pink, leaf green, and delphinium blue. The bodice of the dress has an off the shoulder silhouette and ruched bust. Decorating the bodice is a handmade length of trim in the 18th century style. A silk ombré bow decorates the décolletage. The skirt is a simple bell with pale pink tulle giving it volume.

Not long ago, I took a magical trip with my beloved Berry family to London! I was flown in as a surprise for Rebecca’s special birthday trip. What a glorious week we had. One of the most special places for me was the trip to Liberty of London, where I blew most of my budget and bought 9 meters of fabric. Another highlight was the Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&A museum. More inspired outfits will be coming from both. In this fist gown, I was inspired to use some of my new Liberty lawn with details à la Française to give a nod to Marie Antoinette.
The lawn is ombré pink with vertical metallic gold stripes woven in. The featured flowers are peonies in dark pink and yellow. The bodice is off the shoulder with a ruched bust. Four pink silk ribbon bows decorate the front. The skirt is a voluminous bubble decorated with a handmade trim flourish on either side.

Nothing brightens the complexion like sparkle next to the face, offered by this chic little silk noil sugarplum bolero jacket. The neckline is richly beaded with different shapes and sizes of glass beads and crystals in complementary colors. The jacket is fully lined in the Liberty of London print.
The party dress features a scoop necked, sleeveless bodice and full skirt, given added volume from layers of pink tulle. The print “Wiltshire” is a classic leaf and berry design, first created in 1933, and one of Liberty’s classics ever since, done in numerous color variations. This rendition is one of the more modern color ways as it has the addition of metallic dyes, making it perfect for the holidays.

Welcome to my little collection that I designed especially for Poppy’s 16th birthday celebration, which will be taking place in Orlando, Florida on Saturday, December 6. A limited number of people were given the chance to attend that event, but do not let that distress you. Everyone has equal access to my collection, which can be ordered online, here on my website.
The fashions that are already made will be billed and shipped shortly after the event has finished. Any additional fashions that are commissioned and have to be made will not be billed until they are completed and ready to ship, probably sometime in February. All fashions fit Poppy Parker.
