Muffy models an elegant coat ensemble in shades of purple, bright pink, and black.  The classic swing coat is made from dark purple silk noil, a matte fabric with a subtle nubby texture.  The coat is fully lined in a striking Liberty of London print of purple pansies on a black ground.  Buttons covered in the Liberty fabric decorate the front and a shiny gold bird brooch ornaments the collar.  The accompanying full skirted dress is also in the pansy print.  A neat pill box hat in purple silk noil with a pansy bow in back is the perfect finishing touch.

This beautiful print from the 2015 Liberty collection is an eclectic mixture of hand drawn photo realistic pansies and abstract violas in shades of purple.  The off the shoulder, dropped waist bodice has a ruched bodice embroidered with tiny purple beads.  A silk bow belt in dusky amethyst defines the waist.  The voluminous bubble skirt is as airy and light as a souffle.

The Holidays provide so many opportunities for elegant ensembles, such as this Chanel inspired sheath and jacket combination.  The strapless black metallic sheath is made from black figured lamé with a pattern of tiny dots.  A black silk belt with Chanel’s iconic double C logo as a buckle defines the waist.  The jacket is boxy in shape and is made from black eyelash bouclé, woven with threads of silver and highlighted with tiny black sequins for shimmer.  A grey diamante Chanel brooch, matching the belt buckle, sparkles on the front of the jacket.

Poppy models a sleek black sheath with a Chanel style cropped jacket.  The jacket is made from black boucle woven with gold and cream.  The edges are decorated with gold chain and a black and gold Swarovski crystal brooch adds sparkle.  The accompanying strapless sheath is made from black silk crepe with gold chain at the top. A belt of black faceted crystal links and gold chain adds interest to the waist.

Critically acclaimed singer and fashion trendsetter Florence Welch of ‘Florence and the Machine’ visited the Liberty archives to select two of her favorite designs for the 2011 collection. This colorway of the Dancing Ladies Liberty Print was one such design, a wonderful traditional Liberty floral containing ‘Dancing Ladies’ reminiscent of Indian miniatures. It has been a very popular style within the past Liberty collections, especially in the 1920s and 30s.  The predominant colors are dark persimmon orange, golden olive, and teal on a rich blue ground.  Ladies dance to the music of the sitar, played by young men in a garden setting.  Spotted fawns, peacocks and other creatures stand by.

The hostess gown has a full skirt that is slit on one side, revealing the slim trousers in olive gold silk worn below.  A sash of dark orange woven with pink is hand fringed.

Created by well known French Art Nouveau designer, R. Beauclair, in approximately 1900, the Ianthe pattern for Liberty of London is one of their most iconic and beloved prints.  This colorway features red and shades of blue with accents in burnt orange, green, and cream.  The full, floor length skirt is slit on one side, revealing cherry red silk capri pants.  A royal blue silk sash with hand fringed detail is the perfect finishing touch.

This fashion fits most 1/6 scale dolls, although the pants may not fit dolls with larger hips, such as Severine or FR2 dolls.
