Made from some of the precious Alençon lace that I bought in Paris, this cocktail dress is especially glamorous. The strapless dress is made from French blue silk overlaid with French blue Alençon lace woven with gold thread and delicate cording. I added some tiny gold sequins scattered over the bodice for some extra sparkle. A swath of gold tulle frames the shoulders, highlighted with tiny gold beads where the tulle meets the bodice.
