This fashion is based on a gown designed by Jessica McClintock that I made for myself back in the 1980s when I was in High

School.  The sweetheart bodice is slashed almost to the waist.  Two pink silk bows bridge the gap.  The fabric is a gorgeous botanical print from Liberty of London called “Theodora.”

A flirty skirt set in Liberty of London and silk noil.  The top is off the shoulder with a ruched bust, nipped in waist and peplum, made from Liberty of London cotton. The slim skirt is made from mauve silk noil, which has a nubby texture similar to linen.  A bow belt of mauve silk defines the waist.

Muffy models this classic dress in a bright pink and white floral with touches of black.  The full skirt has a black tulle underskirt.  The sweetheart bodice is emphasized by a black and white checked band of pleated silk that goes under the bust and over the shoulders as straps.

The perfect ensemble for entertaining at home, this set is both casual and elegant.  The flared tunic top is made from aqua and silver brocade and is fully lined in silver silk.  The neckline is hand beaded with silver and aqua beads in a graduated design.  Slim capri trousers in silver silk are the perfect accompaniment.  A wide headband in silver silk keeps our hostess’ hair in place for entertaining.  So glamorous!

I love a redhead in French Blue.  This fabric is silk richly embroidered with flowers.  The fitted jacket has a nipped in waist, bracelet length sleeves, and a shawl collar.  A black silk bow belt defines the waist and a diamante bow brooch sparkles on the collar.  A ruched black headband with a French Blue rose is the perfect finishing touch.

Victoire models a charming ensemble, perfect for a breezy, sunny day.  The sundress is made made a beautiful Liberty print called Wild Flowers.

“Wild Flowers by Su Blackwell is a recollection of early childhood journeys across the British landscape in discovery of native flora. This joyous Liberty fabric was initially inspired by illustrations from an early 19th Century book, ‘Field Guide to Wild Flowers in Britain’.”

The sundress has a full skirt and is open at the front, revealing slim fitting capri pants in iridescent pink silk.  A matching bow belt adds interest at the waistline.

This lovely print is an Impressionistic watercolor rendition of spring flowers such as primroses and daffodils.  The colors are soft; shades of yellow and gold, coral pink, and spring green.  The strapless, dropped waist bodice is defined by a pleated band of coral silk at the bust, with a small bow on either side.

A new style for Bellissima Couture, this set is comprised of a sundress that is open in the front, revealing slim fitting capri pants beneath.  The dress has a boat neck and full skirt, made from Liberty of London Tana Lawn in a print called “Ellie Ruth.”  The capri pants are made of red silk.  A red silk bow belt defines the waist.

This outfit is best suited to smaller busted dolls like Poppy Parker, Silkstone Barbie, and Model Muse Barbie.  It will also fit NuFace and Monogram dolls, but will be substantially shorter.

This is an especially lovely silk brocade from India.  Pale yellow and hyacinth purple flowers are woven against a ground of pale silvery grey.  The slim sheath has a band and bow at the waist in hyacinth purple silk.  The stylish, boxy jacket has bracelet length sleeves, tiny pearl buttons, and a vintage crystal brooch on the collar.  The jacket it fully lined in pale yellow silk.
