A friend suggested I give this Mid Century Modern style a try and I think it is a perfect addition to the Bellissima Couture repertoire.  An elegant but casual ensemble, the tunic top is sleeveless, with a boat neck.  The fabric is a vintage metallic brocade in shades of gold and silver.  A hand beaded collar in metallic beads adds interest to the neckline.  Slim fitting trousers in olive gold silk complete the ensemble.

Poppy models a whimsical coat ensemble.  The classic swing coat is made from aqua cotton printed with colorful tubes of lipstick.  The coat is fully lined in cherry red silk.  Aqua pearl buttons decorate the front and a tiny lipstick brooch sparkles on the collar.  The matching party dress is made from cherry silk, with an aqua tulle underskirt.

This beautiful Liberty of London print is another in the series of watercolors of wild flowers.

A classic ensemble from Bellissima Couture, Moulin Rouge consists of an off the shoulder peplum top in embroidered cream silk with a ruched bust embroidered with silver beads and pearls.  A ruffle of Tiffany blue tulle decorates the hem.  A silk bow belt in Tiffany blue silk defines the waist.  A matching pencil skirt in embroidered cream silk completes the ensemble.
