Days are warm, but nights are crisp as the leaves begin to twist and dance to the ground. MADAME IANTHE
Our model has been expertly painted and restyled in the vintage aesthetic by Maryann. She is wearing a Liberty of London Hostess Gown in popular Art Nouveau print “Ianthe” from 1902. Her silk capri trousers are in dark red silk, while a royal blue knotted sash at the waist picks up the model’s blue eyes. Gold jewelry finishes her colorful look.

Our model wears an elegant one shouldered pant suit in vintage Indian green silk woven with gold. A pale pink drape flows from the shoulder to the floor. Gold crystals highlight the drape’s point of origin. Hammered gold hoop earrings with green beads and serpentine gold arm bracelets complete her exotic ensemble. Our model’s hair has been beautifully restyled and she has striking green eyes. Facial screening reimagined by Maryann.

HIGH SOCIETY GALA

Inspired by the colorful, columnar gowns of French designer Madame Grès, our fiery red haired Maven models a column gown featuring a dramatic peacock. Surrounded by cherry blossoms, the peacock and surrounding blooms are covered in Swarovski crystals for brilliant sparkle. Our Maven’s flawless face and immaculate updo are the work of Maryann. SOLD

L’OPERA BOUFFE

Wearing a dress inspired by Christian Dior’s Opéra Bouffe Gown from 1956, this Maven is ready for a night at the Opera with hair pulled back in a chignon and striking makeup, all at the hands of Maryann. Her dress is an iridescent peach silk shantung with a sweetheart bodice and gathered skirt. The visual interest is in the back of this dress, where an enormous pouf of a bow decorates the entire back of the skirt. A cameo picks up the lovely peach of the dress and clear pumps are a perfect finishing touch. SOLD

SUMMER WIND

A flawless sheath is made spectacular with the addition of a splendid bow at the waist. The print is the height of sophistication, a floral against a black ground. A ruched cummerbund in wisteria purple brings attention to the waist, where it is met with the bow. Our Maven drips with pearls, at her ears, neck and wrist. To finish her look, she has little black gloves and periwinkle blue pumps. Her rich brown hair has been expertly styled in a double ponytail by Maryann, who also was responsible for her gorgeous, classic face.

Grace models a summery suit in a lovely floral print in shades of blue and pink. The jacket is tight fitting at the waist, which flares into a peplum. A shawl collar and three quarter length sleeves continue the vintage details. Tiny faceted white glass beads act as buttons. A pink silk bow belt defines the waist. Rifle Paper Company produced an Easter collection this year, and it is as cute as all their other holiday offerings. The fabric is the very palest mint green and depicts an egg festival being played out by little rabbits, who have spelled out Easter on eggs across the back. Spring grass and flowers dot the landscape. The coat is lined in spring green silk and sports faceted pink glass buttons. The accompanying silk party dress is made from lilac check.
