I like to bring back Bellissima Couture favorites from time to time, and this has been a special design in my repertoire over the years.  This manifestation is made from embroidered cream silk.  The off the shoulder top has a peplum and a ruched bust highlighted with silver beads and pearls.  A ruffle of pale pink tulle finishes the hem of the top.  A pale pink silk bow belt defines the waist.  A slim pencil skirt completes the ensemble.

I have had this scrap of fabric in my collection of Liberty for years, so long that I don’t even know the name of it.  But the beautiful flowers blooming on this French Blue background seemed perfect for Fashionably Floral, my latest muse.  The slim sheath dress is made from the Liberty fabric.  A short jacket with bracelet length sleeves is made from Lavender silk noil, fully lined in the floral Liberty cotton.  A narrow scarf with hand fringed ends ties loosely in the front (a hidden snap ensures proper placement), decorated with a silver flower pin (removable).

Dulcissima recently joined my cast of models and is modeling her first dress in Burberry silk.  Shades of taupe and charcoal are highlighted with pops of red.  The full skirt has layers of red tulle peeking out from the hem.  Red silk bows decorate the shoulders.

Part of Liberty of London’s Classic Tana Lawn range, Lodden, designed by William Morris in 1884, features a melange of lotuses, florals and embellished vines.  The colors remind me of an array of Gelato.  The perfect party dress for Spring, the full skirt has many layers of lemon yellow sparkle tulle.  A lemon silk band and bow detail define the waist.
