Poppy (on a tall FR2 body) models a new style of coat, now that the weather is beginning to get colder.  The shape is a moderate A-line with a funnel neck collar and bracelet length sleeves.  The fabric is a cherry red wool bouclè woven with white and black sparkle yarn in a plaid pattern.  The coat is fully lined in black silk and has faceted jet buttons.  An insignia Chanel brooch in silver set with black stones decorates the collar.  The sheath dress is made from black silk noil with a red silk belt and gold buckle.  A classic Chanel purse is made from the red wool with a silver chain and silver and black double C insignia “clasp.”  Also included is a black Chanel box from Inside the Fashion Doll Studio for storing the purse.

As Autumn progresses, the air is filled with falling leaves in yellow, orange, and red.  This beautiful scarf, made by Inside the Fashion Doll Studio, is pure silk and depicts an authentic design by French luxury fashion house Hermès.  The design is a whirling vortex of colorful Autumn leaves.  Also included is a gold scarf ring and an Hermès signature box for storage.  The shopping bag shown is not included, but can be purchased directly from Inside the Fashion Doll Studio.  The accompanying sheath is made from a dark red silk noil, which has a nubby texture similar to linen.  The sheath has a split collar detail at the neckline.

Today I received a package full of glorious brocades from England.  This one is particularly special, with many different yarns in different textures and colors, including metallics and tiny sequins.  Bright notes include French blue and coral, mixed with black, cream, grey, and silver.  Silver and crystal buttons run down the front.  A cream enamel Chanel brooch in also included. The brooch is magnetized and can be used on any garment you like.  The accompanying sheath is made from black crepe with a handmade fringed trim around the top.    Finally, a classic Chanel purse made from the boucle with silver chain and an insignia “clasp” is also included with an insignia box for storage.  The box is the work of Inside the Fashion Doll Studio.
