One of my favorite color combinations is navy blue with pink, which makes this some of the loveliest lace I have.  The strapless, dropped waist bodice is made from petal pink silk and blossoms into a glorious tea length skirt of navy blue lace richly embroidered with pink flowers.  Eight layers of pale pink shimmer tulle give added fullness to the skirt.  The bodice is decorated with embroidered flowers from the skirt, carefully cut from the lace and appliqued to the bodice.

Poppy has spent a happy afternoon shopping at Burberry where she found a flirty day dress in their signature plaid.  The fitted bodice has red silk bows decorating the shoulders, while the skirt is made full by layers of red tulle beneath.  The fabulous Burberry shopping bag is the work of Rebecca Berry and is included with the dress.

Poppy is an elegant vision as she models this black and white silk plaid ballgown for Chanel.  The strapless bodice has a dropped waist that explodes into a voluminous skirt.  Layers of white tulle give added fullness.  A band of black silk sets off the waist.  A frothy trim of gathered pleated white tulle around the top of the bodice is a perfect Parisian accent.
