Office Romance

Have you heard that Mad Men is returning April 7th?  Are you as excited as I am?

In honor of this momentous news I have made a nifty little 1960s style suit with a slim sheath and cropped boxy jacket.  The fabric is a very special navy blue figured silk crepe from Japan.  The bodice of the sheath is a divine Liberty of London floral print, which is also the lining of the jacket.  Four covered buttons decorate the front of the jacket, which has a perky round collar.  A bow belt at the waist in acid green brings out the colors in the print and is a sharp complement to the navy blue.

The perfect suit for a little office flirting…

    • Thank you so much, dear Brenda! I used to use covered buttons all the time when I made my own clothes. I love the way they look. xoxo
