A favorite game in my family is Mahjong, a Chinese game that uses beautiful tiles made of painted ivory plaques, mounted on bamboo. Some of the most beautiful tiles depict flowers, seasons, and birds. This tunic is made from a green tea colored cotton, scattered with ornate Mahjong tiles. A richly beaded collar of gold seed beads and purple bugle beads lends elegant sparkle to the tunic. The accompanying trousers are made from dusky purple iridescent silk.
This fashion fits most 1/6 scale dolls, but the trousers may not fit dolls with wider hips, such as Lalka/Severine and FR2 dolls.
Hilda, I was just on your Etsy site, amazed that this had not yet sold. I was clicking to put it in my cart and “poof” it was sold!
Ah well, it was not meant to be. Love the Mahjong tile fabric! My mother loved the game – played weekly with 2 different groups!
Thanks, Sherri! I hadn’t used that fabric before and I loved how it looks made up. I might make a coat from it.
