Nancy’s Garden in Periwinkle Pansies

Posted on

The second installment in the series of dresses dedicated to my mother Nancy, this gown is inspired by pansies, her favorite flower.  Eight layers of lilac tulle encase a bevy of blooms in shades of periwinkle blue, lavender, orchid, and pale pink.  Shiny, dark green ivy leaves are a contrast to the delicate flowers, many of which have a Swarovski crystals in the center for sparkle.  The bodice is a simple boatneck in lilac silk with a band of French ombre ribbon at the waist.

This fashion fits Silkstone Barbie, Poppy Parker, Victoire Roux, FR2 and Nu Face

Now on Etsy!
