Nancy’s Garden in Blue Sky and Cherry Blossoms

The fifth gown in a series honoring my mother Nancy and her love of flowers.  In the spring when the trees are in bloom and the sky is blue, if you look up through the flowers there is a beautiful contrast between the pink blossoms and vivid blue sky.  This is the inspiration for this dress.  Bright pink cherry blossoms, daisies and roses are encased in 8 layers of pale aqua tulle alternating with turquoise shimmer tulle.  Pink Swarovski crystals are scattered throughout for sparkle.  The boat necked bodice is made from dark aqua silk and sports a cherry blossom and crystal brooch sewn to the shoulder.
