Holiday Fashions and Flowers Event from Bellissima Couture and Inside the Fashion Doll Studio

Happy Holidays from Seattle! Bellissima Couture has come to visit Rebecca of Inside the Fashion Doll Studio and is delighted to be collaborating with her for this special event. We are bringing you 5 different fashions, each with a coordinating handmade poinsettia or amaryllis.

Cordy’s Christmas Party Dress: Rebecca’s daughter Megan recently adopted her first cat, a seven year old black cat named Corduroy or Cordy. This dress is dedicated to him, as he experiences his first Berry family Christmas. (Cordy not included).

Wide eyed black kittens hide among the poinsettias. The bodice features a boat neck and is fully lined in black silk. Gold beads sparkle in the flowers’ centers. The full skirt is given added volume from layers of tulle. The coordinating flower is an exuberant handmade red poinsettia wrapped in shiny green Mylar. Harlequin Gift Wrap Day Dress: a fanciful dress for day in a whimsical harlequin print in shades of pink, red, white, and gold. Red silk bows decorate the hips and red tulle gives volume to the skirt. Stunning pink poinsettia wrapped in gold Mylar accompanies this dress. Holiday Botanicals Bubble Dress: a miniature print of Christmas botanicals on silky cotton lawn. The bodice features an off the shoulder silhouette with a ruched bust embroidered with red beads, and descends into a voluminous bubble skirt. A bright red poinsettia in a green Mylar wrapping accompanies the fashion. Dress and poinsettia: $145; 2 additional dresses without flowers available to order for $110 each.

Poinsettia Classic Suit: a beautiful vintage print of scarlet Christmas blooms on a snowy white ground. The suit has a portrait collar, bracelet length sleeves, and a peplum silhouette. Dark red pearls act as buttons. A slim pencil skirt completes the look. A dramatic red and white striped amaryllis in a stone pot accompanies this elegant suit. Red and Gold Lace Poinsettia Gown: Dramatic floor length gown in brilliant red lace with a deep embroidered hem of poinsettia flowers. The red silk bodice has a strap that wraps around the neck and fastens on one side. A large gold and red poinsettia corsage attaches magnetically to the strap for a dramatic effect. Eight layers of red tulle give volume to the skirt. $125. 2 additional dresses available to order for $125. NB: corsage is very fragile. Handle with care.
