I have been experimenting with different styles for this summer’s Barbie Convention, whose theme is the 1920s. This lovely style is in silk cut on the bias as was customary in dresses of the period. A wide band in Liberty of London “Mitsi” sits low on the hips and is highlighted with beads. The skirt lies in pleats in the front and hangs in a handkerchief hem.
