Sheath Suit in Liberty of London Phoebe

Posted on

Inspired by print impressions found at Liberty’s Merton print works, the Phoebe fabric design was first printed as a scarf in 1966 and has been included as a regular pattern in Classic Tana Lawn in a variety of colorways since 2002. This colorway is perfect for a summer day, with shades of coral, pear green, turquoise, and French blue.  This summer suit consists of a fitted sheath and a short jacket.  The bodice of the sheath is in the print, while the skirt is made from pear green silk twill.  A narrow belt in the print with a crystal buckle adds interest to the waist.  The short, boxy jacket is made from the pear green silk twill, fully lined in the Phoebe print.  A large covered button fastens the jacket at the top.  This charming vintage suit is topped off by a neat pillbox hat in pear green, trimmed with coral and French blue vintage flowers.

This fashion fits most 1/6 scale fashion dolls
