Poppy has had a wonderful time shopping for presents, mostly for herself, in this stylish coat ensemble.  The shawl collared coat is coral pink scattered with accessories like shoes, handbags, and perfume.  A bright red silk lining is a pop of color, picked up in the red silk party dress.  Pink tulle peeks out from the hem of the dress.  Bright red faceted buttons decorate the front of the coat.  You might notice that these photographs are something special.  That is because I am currently visiting my dear friend Rebecca Berry (Inside the Fashion Doll Studio), so Poppy had a professional photo shoot.  Please note that the gorgeous luggage, purses and shoes are only props and are not included.

I recently found this favorite fabric of mine in a blue colorway, and so am offering a color variation of the Purse Addict fashion that I made a few weeks ago.  I picked up the two purple shades in the fabric for the lining of the coat and for the accompanying party dress.  The shawl collared coat sports aqua pearl buttons and a lilac silk dupioni lining.  The party dress is in orchid silk taffeta with a French blue tulle underskirt.  A lilac silk dupioni sash and bow defines the waistline.
