Hostess Gown in Liberty of London Hera

Posted on

Named after the Greek goddess whose sacred animal was the peacock, Hera was designed in 1887 and features a peacock feather pattern. It is now part of the Classic Tana Lawn collection and has become one of Liberty’s most iconic prints.  This colorway is all in shades of pink, ranging from rose to raspberry.  The boat necked bodice is richly beaded with seed beads in shades of pink.  The floor length skirt is split in front, revealing raspberry silk capri pants.  A hand fringed sash in raspberry pink silk is double wrapped and knotted in front.  A raspberry pink headband keeps every hair in place.  A very elegant ensemble for entertaining at home.

This fashion fits Silkstone Barbie (Classic and Articulated), Victoire Roux.  For other sized dolls, please inquire.
